I was sitting here in my charming VRBO, actively crossing "Spend some of the winter in Savannah" off my bucket list, when my thoughts turned to what I should tackle next in my semi-retirement.

Writing up some of the stories from my life has always been something I wanted to try, but I never knew how to make a start. Ever since I was a kid, people have told me "You should write a book" but I never really knew if they were serious, and not for nothing, that seems like a lot of work. But perhaps bite sized pieces in blog form could be fun. I mean for me. Jury's still out on if it's anything anyone else would ever be remotely interested in. Let's see what happens.
